Accessing & Analyzing Information

As a marketing student, I am required to do a great deal of research for my assignments. Especially for my marketing courses like marketing planning. Where we had to use the research and information, we found in our particular industry. I and my group chose to do it from our market analysis course. Which was the beauty industry and we decided to improve one company called Lush that had unique products for our assignment. For our assignment since we decided to do it on a particular company called lush. That had a unique marketing concept and products that were based on all-natural ingredients. Our role was to assess the company and current market trends to come up with ideas to improve the company. By using specific databases such as Euromonitor, IBIS World, and more to find current information from the industry. What we did was to match the current trends with the company concept. Then we assess ways to better reach our ideal customer and create marketing plans based on the platform most used by current customers and create new promotions that will attract new customers. By using the information, we found helped us in thinking up new ideas. That is relevant to current trends in the market and create a marketing plan that could help the company grow while maintaining their current concept. As evidence, I attached my reflection I created for the course. Which explains my learning development and the skills I acquired throughout the marketing planning course. Especially in developing my accessing and analyzing information skills.
