Initiative and Entrepreneurship
During 2020 there was many up’s and down’s especially with the unexpected lockdown due to the coronavirus. For me it meant that I couldn’t do an internship or even go outside much during the summer. Which meant I had to find something else to do and luckily my friend told me about Harvard online courses and LinkedIn learning. That decided to do one them called Hinduism through the scriptures because I wanted to learn more about my own religion and expand my own learning. Throughout the course required to do several readings, discussion, and assignments to complete the course. Which at times could be difficult for me to focus on because unlike a semester in college there was any set days or due dates to push me to finish the assignments. To make sure I kept on track I created a weekly schedule for myself. Monday to Tuesday I work on my LinkedIn learning and from Wednesday to Friday was for my Harvard course. I even had my sister to help me by reminding me about doing my self learning. Since I kept my focused, I was able to complete my Harvard course and a few LinkedIn course as well. Which helped me to better understand my religion and culture. As well as learn new skills like business ethics and the six morning of high performers. By doing these courses really made me feel like I actually accomplish something instead of doing nothing during lockdown. Now that I know that I am able to expand my learning through doing the online learning from Harvard I am planning to do even more course and even try to complete a program. As evidence I actually verified my course so that I was able to gain a certificate that I had placed in my LinkedIn profile and if you would like to see it please click here!
