Effective Oral and Written Communication

There was one time where I was required to teach my leadership development class a lesson on impassioned leadership: A comparison between a leader from divergent walks of life. This lesson was very complicated and could have been difficult for viewers to follow. What my team was responsible for was to teach the material in a fun and easy way for my class to follow. That would help them to remember important facts and the purpose of the study to find similar traits of particular leaders. To complete this task, we made a slide show presentation that broke down all the important parts of the study and I designed it to look visually appealing. Then my group took turns to presentation to gain the audience’s attention and give each other a break. We also added an online Kahoot quiz and a small prize for the person who won first place. The results were great because we got many of our classmates’ attention and they were very ecstatic to do the Kahoot quiz to win the prize. Even when my class did an open test was, we found the answers together. Everyone was able to find the answers to our lesson easily because they remembered what we taught them. As evidence, I have added the presentation that my group did as an attachment below my post. Please click the attachment if you would like to see it.
